On the 20th of January we demonstrated the Ice-Bat at De Meent in Alkmaar.
We made a video showing how the Ice-Bat starts and stops. There are no brakes to stop the Ice-Bat, you use your feet, however there is a brake built into the propeller. If you let go of the brake lever on the handlebars then the propeller stops. This means it is not a danger to other people on the ice.
After the busy demo. in Hoorn last Friday (the 13th …all went well!), the Ice-Bats will be a feature of the Alkmaar ice oval 40th birthday party celebrations. There will also be a chance for the puplic to try one out.
