Champ. Instructies

Slicing through the snow, flying over the ice

Todays action on the Zuidlaardermeer. After lunch the wind got up and the DN ice yachts toasted me! I gave up and went home (happy!). See the 3 videos.

Bat-crash

I managed to rip the rear cross-bar off Ice-Bat Red today while flying down the canal! Carried away by the sensation of the ‘ open road’ I was a little careless while travelling through an area of very rough ice. A frozen berg sticking up smashed the rear skates off.

Paterswoldsemeer start delayed to 10.00am (have to fix a few things first!)

Freeze your bats off – 6 Feb. Paterswoldsemeer

If you live in the Netherlands, you will know it is cold! It is -10 most nights now and the world is turning into ice. Which is of course excellent news.

I expect the Ice-Bats to be operational on the Southern end of the Paterswoldsemeer, Groningen on Monday (6 Feb.) morning.

Everyone is welcome to come and have a go!
