In time for next winter, the Ice-Bat will be available to the public in a “Touring” version. This will have:

1. a propeller guard
2. ice brake (the racing model already has a propeller brake
3. touring skates
4. electric motor pedal assistance (optional)

You can register your interest (not binding) to buy one of these yourself via info@icebatracing.com. Ice-Bat International is also looking for potential agents in countries outside the Netherlands (eg. Germany, Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, Estonia, Japan, etc): send us an e-mail if you are interested.

14 January, Vechtsebanen Utrecht. Ex-pro cyclist Aart complained about not being fit but it is all relative – he was a clear 3 seconds a lap quicker than me (Steve) and this was his first go on the Ice-Bat! He said he will be back for more…
